Help us Brighten a Child’s World

Bright Beginnings is a YMCA-sponsored program that Innsbrook Rotary has been supporting for over 10 years.  The purpose of Bright Beginnings is to help low-income children experience a positive first day of school by providing them with new clothes and a backpack filled with needed school supplies.  There are 3 different ways you can help by donating your time and/or money:

• Make a cash donation:  Any amount is appreciated!  The cost to fully sponsor one child is $150 which will give them a filled backpack and two new outfits for school.  
   
• Shop with a child:   Innsbrook Rotary’s shopping night is Wed, Aug. 19 from 6-9pm.  You’ll be partnered with a young child for whom you’ll purchase items on a checklist including shoes and a new outfit.  It’s very easy and one of the most rewarding ways to help!  This is a TIME donation only and you don’t have to pay for the items.  Come out and join us for this fun fellowship event with others in our club!
   
• Fill a Backpack:  This is a great way to involve your kids in Community Service!  Pick up a form with a child’s name and ID number on it and let your kids choose the school supplies on the list.  This is a TIME and FINANCIAL donation.  Backpacks must be returned to the Shady Grove YMCA by 7/31
